Attributes
Attributes capture the concrete, tangible aspects of a venue. Amenities, features, facilities - what's physically there.
Why attributes matter
Some queries are about character. Others are practical: "hotel with pool near Edinburgh" or "restaurant with private dining room." Attributes make venues searchable on these concrete criteria.
What attributes contain
Amenities (spa, pool, restaurant, bar), features (pet-friendly, EV charging, accessible), and facilities (room count, parking, event spaces). The specific, countable things a venue has.
Attributes vs vibe
Attributes are what a venue has. Vibe is what it is.
| Attributes | Vibe |
|---|---|
| Spa, pool, restaurant | Intimate, design-forward |
| Concrete, countable | Intangible, felt |
| Factual | Character-based |
Both matter. A guest might want "intimate hotel with spa" - that combines vibe and attributes.
What agents can do with attributes
Agents can filter and match on concrete requirements, answer specific questions ("does it have parking?"), and compare venues on tangible criteria.
