Creative Minds comes to an end

12 weeks has flown by. I’ve just returned from The Benjamin Foundation’s Restore furniture shop in Norwich having seen Charlotte, Chloe, Joe and Myles present their marketing strategy to senior staff from the Benjamin Foundation and a fairly intimidating panel of marketing professionals to great acclaim.

You can read more about their experiences on the excellent project blog here: http://ueacreativeminds.wordpress.com and a press release on the conclusion of the project here: http://www.norfolknetwork.com/news/view/1807

I’ve really enjoyed watching the interns grow together as a team and I’m terrifically proud of what they’ve achieved in 12 short weeks. Amazingly, all the interns that wanted a job (two have returned to further study) have got one, including some with their summer hosts.

UEA’s internship team came to the presentation too and announced that we’ll be working with a new, and hopefully larger, cohort in summer 2015. MADE have hosted two UEA interns this year: Myles is heading back to finish his degree and we’re delighted James has agreed to join the team full time. It’s a brilliant way to recruit, complete a special project or just get some fresh ideas. Find out more here: https://www.uea.ac.uk/careers/students/opportunities/internships
